Just another "R/C Site"..... UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

A Group who displayed the "Warbirds"at the State EAA meet. This was the premier MVRC Display in 1998.

The PT-19 (#23 above) was owned by Les Perkins. After a couple of "happenings", I rebuilt the plane like an old Pylon Racer of the 1930's. Going to get it going again in 2002!

Two planes I really enjoyed flying. The old Laser 200, by Quadratech with an O.S. 1.08 and an ARF Fun Fly .40 size. I still fly my Tired Old Laser but the Fun Fly is a wall flower.

My SIG 300S (ARF) turned out to be a nice flyer. I am using a Predator 1.8 on a Methonol (Glo) and oil mix "perfected" by Raymond Sailbury. You can also use GAS by adding ignition and fuel system conversion while using the SAME CARB!

This is a "testing session" for new planes. John Norfleet, Wendall York, Les Perkins and I decided this was the day when it was "Going to happen" and we ALL had a ball and even got in some Pylon Racing!

Yes, this is a Fly In. We have just unloaded and are waiting for that special moment. That is when you know it time to GAS AND GO! John Norfleet looks relaxed, huh?

MVRC Flight line at Ft. Lee on a beautiful Sunday. As you can see there are a lot of people there. I brought my Sig Bravo and the old trusty Laser 200 again.

THIS WAS A VERY SPECIAL PROJECT UNDERTAKEN BY MVRC MEMBERS FOR THE 5th ANNIVERARY CHARLIE BARNES FLY IN. AN ACE 1/4 SCALE TAILORCRAFT WAS USED TO REPLICATE THE "SCRATCH BUILT" ORIGINAL BY CHARLIE BARNES.

Here is the finished product. The plane belonges to Les Perkins. The refinishing was done by Ben Vogelgesang, Les and Myself. The plane was on display at the Charlie Barnes Memorial Fly In, 2001.

Here is the "Originial TailorCraft". which still hangs in the Hobby Corner. It was started by Charlie but went unfinished. His plane was used to prepare the "replica" for the 2001 Charlie Barnes Memorial.
