My Son David Went Home

To Be With The Lord....1991

Rest in God's Eternal Peace My Son

Some People Only Dreams Of Angels

~ No One Knows ~

No one knows the tears I've cried

And the pain I've felt within

When I think my heart will break in two

With the overwhelming loss of you

No one know, for my voice is still

Could all of this be God's will ?

I've prayed that it was, and not just by fate

When on that night, you and eternity had a date

No one know's, but perhaps you do !

If one time you did, take that walk in my shoes

In my heart there's a deep empty spot within

When it's quiet and still, and I'm thinking of him

I've prayed that one day, that empty space

Will be filled with the Love and Light of God's Grace

For on that day, I will once again gaze upon his face.

Our loved one had to part

God has you in His keeping

But what it meant to lose you

All Our Love, Mother And Family

My son David passed from this life while canoing with friends. The boat overturned and my son made it safely to the shore but one of his friends was unable to. When David went back into the dark forboding water to pull his friend free from the tangled weed's, he then got tangled himself and drowned while saving his friend. He never made it to the shore that night, the dark watery grave swallowed up his body. It wasn't until the third day that his body surfaced to the top and the search team found him floating, in the early morning hour's. We all felt in our heart's we would never see him alive again, but knew he wasn't alone, the angels were there to carry him home to be with the Lord. David was only 24 years old, perhaps God needed another angel in heaven, but he will live on forever in our hearts....until we meet again.

Greater Love hath no man than this,

that a man lay down his life for his friends.
