1968 World Finals in Tulsa, Oklahoma
1968

This is an unused contestant sticker Ive aquired from 1968.

This is a Media pass from the 68 Finals.

This is patch sold at the Finals.

This is aperiantly a prize sticker to win a set of Cragar mags at the Finals. If anyone knows how this worked please email me about it.

These are photos I took at the Mid America Shelby meet here in Tulsa in 1999 of a car that was at the 68 World Finals. It still has the event contestant sticker on its side glass along with the Springnationals in Englishtown,Nationals in Indy, and the Winternationals in Pamona. I thought this was great to see a car that has survived so many years and still has something like that still intact. The owner would appreciate any info about the car anyone would have, photos, magazine, or programs. The info he has is that the car was raced in the SS/C class by Sud Automobile Ford in Montreal, Canada. Powered by a 427 dual four barrels(matching numbers on motor still, a testement to Ford power and reliability I guess). The driver was a Canadian named George Constatine. I believe he was killed in a racing boat accident a couple of years later. To relay any info about the car the owner can be reached by clicking here,he would appreciate it very much.

This is a patch that was made up for the 1969 World Finals in Tulsa. Well as you probably know the 69 Finals were held in Dallas that year. Apperantly everyone had enough of the track at Tulsa with its questionalbe surface and Dallas had a new track so lets go there. I dont know when the desision was made but all the rule books and publications Ive seen had Tulsa listed as the 69 site, so the Dallas thing was a late desition.

Im still working on this site. I need info, so if you have anything please email it to me. Click hereto send me e-mail.THANX JOHN
