Mission Statement

This site and all of the pages
involved in this project are
dedicated to some fantastic
people, all of which had various
stages of memory loss or
Alzheimer's disease.
For about five years I had the
fantastic privilege of being a
facilitator for "The Memories In
The Making" art program at three
Facilities.
I worked as an Activity
Coordinator in the "Memory
Support" units and found out
that the residents would only
give me what I expected of them.
I was trained at "John
Collins Healthcare Education"
for activity professionals in
Orlando, Florida.
It was John's insight that made me
realize how much these folks
really had to give, all they
needed was for someone to
believe in them and challenge
them.
So it is with great honor and
respect that I bring you these 14
pieces of artwork done by 9
different artist.
Over the years I bought all of these pieces of
artwork at the Gala Auction in
St. Petersburg Florida which
took place the end of May or
beginning of June each year.
I might add in closing that each
piece of artwork hangs on my
parlor wall for all to see who
enter my home.
