A special interview with GLORIA STOLL KARNfrom the mid-1940s
to the early 1950s, she painted pulp covers for magazines
as diverse as RANGELAND ROMANCES and the legendary BLACK MASK
magazine. Mrs. Karn appeared at Pulpcon in 2000, then returned
as a Guest of Honor in 2001. Though she retired from commercial
illustration log ago she remains active with creative endeavors.
Some of her pulp paintings are available as high-quality prints
from Cape Publishing.
