Welcome To George's Falcon & Ranchero Page
Here Is The Story

The insanity started back in 1970 when my Dad brought home my first Ford Falcon. It was a 1962 Ford Falcon Squire Station Wagon. At first I was not exactly impressed but of of course he convinced me that this was the car for me, especially since it was a Ford.  You have to understand, I grew up in a Ford family.  My Dad always drove Fords, as well as my Grandad and both Greatgrandads.  I guess my blood is just Ford blue!  The little 170 6 cyl engine was in bad shape and the Fordomatic transmission was cold natured but that was all OK with me because it was all mine and it was paid for, well at least it was once I got done paying my Dad back for it!  Of course with lots of help from my Dad, it became a safe and reliable daily driver for a 16 year old teenager. Considering it cost $100 and Dad drove it home, it seemed to be a good deal. Just try to buy a hundred dollar car today that runs and is licensed and is ready to drive.  This little Falcon even took me everywhere I needed to go including school, work and the girlfriends house and was the most trouble free car a kid could have.  My Mom even fashioned some curtains for the back and I used it for a camper many times.  Oh how I miss that little car, maybe one day again I will have another Falcon Wagon.  The car is long gone, but Dad is still around and is still helping (mostly just with advice these days) with my new flock of Falcons.  Once a Ford man, always a Ford man!  As a matter of fact, he is almost 80 now and only has one vehicle.  A Ford F150 dressed to the max.  Ain't being a Ford family member great???!!!

So there you have it, a quick rundown of my collection. Why do I have so many old Fords?  I have been told there is medical treatment available for my disease, they call it Forditis but at this time I have not attempted to seek treatment.  LOL.  Seriously, I do need to thin the flock but just never seem to be able to give anything up.  Maybe one day soon. If you happen to be in the market for a Falcon, Ranchero or a Galaxie hit the SEND E-MAIL TO GEORGE link below and we will talk.
I am located in North Texas near Dallas.
