Pegasus 10 (RETIRED) with Pitbull 22 (in training) before taking the mountain. The team scored several victories that day along with several defeats. An excellent day of play was had by all. Our newest additions to the team proved themselves in several heavy shot outs before the day's end. Pitbull 22 proved himself in several matches with quick thinking and a quicker trigger finger. Pegasus 10 scored several eliminations along with a successful run while capturing the enemy's flag. Great Job !
Pegasus 10 (sniper support) with Bat 21 (sniper & assist capt.) relax between games. Bat 21 scored multiple eliminations with his modified Model 98 Flatline. Bat 21 also scored a team victory while leading a push which resulted in a "Total Elimination" of the opposing team.
"He Who Laughs Last, Laughs Best !"
JOKER 69 one of our two new recruits who hit the field for the very first time this day. Joker played an agressive game and assisted with several pushes against the other team resulting in a few victories.  Joker is pictured with his tricked out Spyder.
Welcome Aboard !

"Taking a breather"
Wolf 37 (captain & sniper #2) along with Pegasus 10 (RETIRED) take a break before starting a game long enough to pose for a photo.
Wolf 37 scored multiple eliminations, including one confirmed goggle elimination. Pegasus 10 scored several eliminations while on the field, and also captured one flag for a victory. The ROGUE 5 sniper team worked well despite the cold air and wet snow on this field, which they used well to their advantage.

La Femme Fatal !
Pegasus 10 prepares to storm the line before a match. Many other players were fooled by  the fact that she is a girl, but she whipped some man-sized butt on the field. Since being assigned to her current role as Sniper Support Officer (now RETIRED), she has not failed the team once, and has yet to cease in amazing us !

Why Mister Wolf... What a big gun you have....
Wolf 37 (captain & sniper #2) sites out his worked up F4 Illustrator before engaging the enemy. Wolf scored multiple eliminations before the team called it a day. Along with Bat 21 and Pegasus 10, the Sniper Team managed to hold the flanks down on several pushes and open the way for the team's runner to bring home the flag.
And for the action news:

This day introduced two of our newest members to the wolrd of paintball. A great game was played by Joker 69, and Pitbull 22 on their first trip to the field. Veteran team players Wolf 37, Bat 21, and Pegasus 10 all showed their skills as they returned to the field for our first trip of 2001. The team, with its newest members, worked like a well-oiled machine as it scored several victories despite the weather, and other conditions. Our team once again proved that high tech markers do not make a great player, as they sent several of them to the other side of the tape during multiple matches with modest semi's and a lot of skill.

Tactics were the primary weapon of the team this day, as the team used the minimal existing trees and other objects for cover in a winter's wonderland of flying paint. Both Joker 69 and Pitbull 22 worked well with the team in their roles as support officers, providing plenty of cover for the other team members. Wolf 37 and Bat 21 managed to prove to the others that a few well placed rounds from no where can make a difference, especially to those on the other team. Pegasus 10 proved that sometimes the best way to take the enemy's flag is to just walk in and take it while they watch in dismay...
Great Job was done by all and we look forward to seeing everyone out there again next time - till then - stay warm, dry and watch out for the paintball snipers !

Special thanks to the management and staff of PAINTBALL LONG ISLAND for once again providing an excellent field, staff and atmosphere for this game. We look forwards to many more trips to this field.
