IRAN:

We lived in Tehran, Iran from April 1969 to July 1975. We have loving and momorable memories of the time we spent in Iran. Our family experiences fun and joy with both of our sons being born in Tehran in 1970 and 1975. Here are some of the pictures from Tehran. I will have some more details of our experiences here on this page:

1972-1973 Tehran, Iran:

The Kunst(?) Brothers from Wisconsin walked around the world to collect 
donations for UNICEF (United Nation Children Education Funds).  We met
them in Tehran at a party.  A week later they took off to Afganistan. 
They were ambushed by bandits who thought that they had money with them; 
one of the brother was killed. The other brother came back to Tehran, 
recuperateD and continued the walk alone.     

1976 The Shah left Tehran.
On a car in Tehran, a bumper sticker stated:  "YANKEES GO HOME AND TAKE ME 
WITH YOU", as seen by a friend during the evacuation.
