Someday..........  I'd like mine to look    similiar to this one,  I got the same type  hood made.

1999 UPDATE:   It's still hiding under a tarp in my back yard! Got involved in other projects last couple years.
                          Almost caught up now, hope to work on it again this SUMMER 2000 hopefully...
                          I made a teardrop hood for it long ago and still will build it as a street machine, bold yellow
                          color, set up similair to my '66 Caprice, try it on the dragstrip a few times.
                          Might put a 348 tri-power it, I have a 4 speed trans available. Have black bucket seats done.

 Tidbit:  1958 was the first year for the Impala series (top of the line model).
