(7/6) Band playing at the internet lounge cafe in fanwood. Event starts at 7:00
(7/8) Second day in studio. 2 and a half hours. Good stuff.
(7/14) studio...CF laced some guitar solos and her solo song "The Story Untold"
(8/1) Band goes back into to studio to finish album!!! Yeah baby!
(8/5-7) Mixing album.
(10/3)CF: Hey guys. Well I stopped at the studio today. Almost done. Album

(10/13) The album , allong with mixing and art, is DONE!
(10/16) CF: Hey, so I played Beneath the Veil for my Creative Writing class and my Independent Living class off the album and both seemed to like it. I'm excited about releasing the album on monday (19th), i've already had people coming up to me saying they want 1. We'll be putting up 5 songs off the album on here soon. we're also getting a whole page in this years yearbook devoted to the band so hopefully we'll be able to scan that when we get it. Just found out there's an open mic and battle coming up.
(11/3) We played the Back Porch in Rahway last night but we can't play there again until we're 21. lol. boy it was fun though. Rup had a surprise guitar solo that I threw at him. It was quite entertaining. It felt good to bring back "this sad love song", which was the 1st song i ever wrote. good times.
(12/4) CF: hey guys. still workin on getting the stuff to mp3 format. my voice is getting better. be sure to check us out dec. 19 for open mic and jan. 9 for the battle of the bands at our school. we r now listed on bravenet.com and bandsbackstage.com. yay!
(12/17) CF: hey, every1 go check out the music vault link cause if u do we get to be a feautured artist! yay! also we r gonna be interviewed for the westfield leader paper and I'll be representing and doin my own thing this friday at open mic at our hs. we finally got new music from the Running up, go check out the bandlookup links. kevin from bandlookup said slip reminded him of gear daddies and that he really digs the melody. a lady from the leader said our album sounds eliot smith/beatles-esq. pretty cool compliments if u ask me.

radio crystal blue last night, they thought the youngest 1 of us was like 13 lol and theysaid rup's name wrong. go check out the show and the site links. umm.. HURRAY! We also have a new message board so go post on that and we'll write back and stuff.

(1/11) the battle friday was a sucess on our part, but it was runned very sloppily and quite a few people (both performers and coordinators) had major ego and snotty attitudes that we could have gone without, allong with just sheer stupidity. PLEASE post on the message board. also we are working on getting the last 2 tracks that r not currently available to the 1st album. Thses tracks are very dear to us and we're hoping they will spark a new intrest in our beloved first album Majestic Tranquity. WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR ARTSY PEOPLE TO DESIGN F-STARS SHIRTS! yes, this is indeed a contest. please email us with your designs and if we use it we will send 1 to you and autograph it for you. (1/29) we were in the Scotch Plains Fanwood Times and the Westfield Leader today. The article was alright, the best points being that it said we have potential and that we strive to do our own sounds, which is rare in the rock world. A lot was left out and perhaps somethings weren't represented as well as they could have been, but then again they don't know us and also i'm sure space was limited for printing. basically after reading kurt cobain's journal you understand what journalist are, allong with many other things. check it out, it's a great read.

2/9 practice today was most enlightenning and fun fun silly willy. we spent 2 hours on what will be our smash off the NEW (yes, we're already working on a 3rd) album. The song is called To Make You Happy and if all goes as planned you will be able to hear its debut march 5th at the open mic at our school. It's a very personal song and we are very proud of it. The fashion show went well, we got to do Could and our over of Twist and Shout. As well as playing the JCC battle, we are also looking into doing a show in the summerset county votec that our new promoter and good friend Adam Irlander is trying to get us. Hopefully with Adam we'll be playing more shows. Oh, and there is a
slight chance that Caryn will be djing Z100 1 day during spring break, in which case u bes' be believin' Falling Stars will get played! With all this said, PLEASE post on the message board and send us artwork for shirts. and enjoy ur valentines day! Also, please let us know if there is 1 song off either albums you really want us to post up here, we do want to make more music available.
2/5 tommorrow is the fashion show at our high school (SPF). we hope to see you all out there. we will be selling burnt copies of the album at the show for cheap. we have never played a fashion show before and we are going to be the only band there so this night will be most enjoyable and a new experience for us. come check it out.

Your band has been selected to play at the JCC's Battle of the Bands on Saturday March 27 from 8 pm to 11 pm. The selection committee had a very difficult task - choosing only 8 bands from over 15 - but your band has been selected!

And plus, CF got Mikey a date from the prom AND Mikey got accepted to his first choice college today. Life is good. We are playing this friday at our school's open mic at 6 pm allong with another band all 3 members are in called Inchoate which is with our friend Rob Dietz, it's a blues band, and also Caryn and Rup are playing with friend Nick Mondi in thier newly formed band Incognito. We were also chosen to play at the votec show April 1st right near the bridge water mall. PLEASE come out and support the band, we need you guys to help motivate us with this 3rd album and all.
3/7 Hello all. the show friday night went great. Thanks to all who came out. If you missed it, you missed "the quiznos subs" commercial being spliced into twist and shout. only us.lots of rockin and laughs.
3/12 Just a reminder for every1 to come out march 27 to the jcc battle of the bands and april 1st to the summerset county votec tallent show. the battle starts at 8 and tickets are 8 bucks from us, 10 at the door. the tallent show starts at 7ish and tix are 5 bucks. come out and u'll see caryn's new guitar, which alone is a good enough reason besides the whole "to make you happy wow new song off 3rd album" thing.
