This is a front shot of Bill's 1973 Mustang Grande. This was the last year of the large Mustang. They went with verticle turn signals in the grill. The Mustang in the grill reminds you of a '67 or '68. This was the longest and widest Mustang built

This is a side shot. Those are rare 1973 Mustang option only wheels with Goodyear radials. Those wheels had a black line around them and special center caps for Mustangs. The vinyl top has the word "Grande" on the quarter pillar. The windshield wipers were hidden and notice the Grande had the sport mirrors as standard. The driver's side was remotely adjustable. The Mustang has the origional AM/FM stereo with door speakers and the sound is excellent. The Grandes also had the color coded stripe along the top of the side. The sides did not have the regular Mustang scoops or styling.

From the back the Mustang kept the "three bar" theme with the three bar tailights. There is a black vinyl type covering between the tailights. The Grande had the extra vertical bumpers on the back. Bill's also has the rear window defroster although he wouldn't think of driving it in that kind of Iowa weather

This is a picture of the interior. Notice the high back seats with shoulder seat belts. The '71-'73 Mustangs have the high dash and low seating. The speedometer and guages are deeply set in the dash and the air conditioning is built into the ducting unlike earlier Mustangs. The automatic shifter is in a small console with an ash tray built in. The knobs and steering wheel remind you of the other Ford offerings of that period. There is room in the backseat also. The door speakers are behind the grilles you see below the window cranks. This Mustang likes to cruise about 75mph and it can do that all day
