This is Craig's award winning 1966 Mustang convertible. He has won numerous MCA gold awards with this car over the last several years since he restored it. It is a California car complete with the anti-pollution systems for the engine. The car is as nearly perfect as you can get it. It is a 289-2v engine with automatic and it has a black top. The car was in rough shape when he purchased it in California.

Craig's wife recently purchased a new red with black top 2000 Mustang GT convertible. Look for pictures of that car here soon.

Here is Craig and his sons getting ready for the MCA judging at the Des Moines show. This year at the show Craig forgot his washer bag and Gordon who has a 1966 and wasn't in the MCA judging let him borrow his. That is what being a club member is all about.

Craig has the styled steel wheels of the proper width and dual red line bias ply tires on the car. I have crawled under it and believe me it is as neat and clean under there as it is on top (I was looking at his duals setup). I am working on getting him started on his next project.

This is Craig's wife's new 2000 GT convertible. It has a 4.6 automatic and it has the GT stripes on the hood as well as the hood scoop and side scoop. They ran up on Saturday for our meeting with the Minnesota club and they went through the fort and to the mall.

This is a picture of Craig and his wife doing some last minute cleaning up on their Mustang before the MCA judging at Des Moines DMACC show by the Central Iowa Mustang Club in early June 2001. They added the plate NOTORNG which means "NOT ORANGE!". It is poppy red which I always liked since a guy to worked across the street from us had a '66 poppy red 2+2. Of course he got another gold from the MCA judges. I panicked and didn't enter my Mustang then I got beat for first place on top of it. Serves me right. I don't think Craig has had anything but golds from his car. They take points off for dust in the wheel wells. Yikes! It would take months for me to clean my car up enough to get into the kind of everyday shape Craig has his in. He even puts it in a bubble over the winter.
