He served in the Confederacy from Mississippi. Penny died 18 Oct 1876 and P.P. Bridges married second Martha Jackson Tanner on 19 Jul 1877. They had 2 children. Parham Plummer died 10 Oct 1886 in Oak Grove, Sabine Parish Louisiana and is buried in Spring Ridge Cemetery in Sabine Parish Louisiana.
