Off In The Distance
I look off into the distance..
Knowing you will never come into view.
I listen for you voice..
Knowing I will never hear you speak my name.
I think of you when I lie down at night...
Knowing I can only dream you are in my life once more.
I think of you in when I rise in the morning...
Knowing I will never hear another good morning from you.
You came into my life unexpectedly...
At a time when we both needed a comfort.
No matter how far away you are..
I will never stop looking and listening for you.
Somewhere off in the distance.
