Bucksteps Boxers

Ch. Bucksteps Bittersweet

"Phoebe" is the apple of my eye. Although I love all my boxers dearly and am proud of them all, "Phoebe" is very special. From the minute she was born I just knew she would be a Champion, she was a fat glossy dark brindle baby with perfect white markings and a head to die for.

Her show career was spectacular, she won only 5 CC but notched up 12 Res. CC. She took the Res. CC at CRUFTS in 1996 and 1997, and in 1997 won the coveted "COTSWALD DOG OF THE YEAR AWARD". I doubt I will ever have another boxer who is such a joy to show, she always tried so hard to please and she loved every minute. At home she is full of fun and a great characters, she is also a dreadful thief - stealing any food that's left out, fruit is her favourite.

She has also been a very good producer,, "Todd" and "Evie" appear on this Web site. Both are CC winners. She was joint "TOP DAM" in 1999 which just finished off a wonderful career.

Phoebe died on the 7th September 2006, she was almost 14 years old. She was a wonderful old girl, always happy and so good natured. She very fit and well right up to the last few weeks of her life.

Phoebe and her brother Charlie Brown were very very special Boxers.
