Here are three HO scale engines with reflective stripes. Please note on the Amtrak engine, the light makes the stripes look "off size".

Here a GP 38-2 with reflective stripes, unless they are 'hit' by light, you won't know they are there.

Reflective stripes in N-Scale, well here they are applied to a SD 60.

The picture on the left shows HO and N scale models with reflective stripes. If that can be done in the small scales, just image how that looks on large scales.
Try it, you will love the effect.

In addition to the 4" x 6" flat sheets of decal film, stripes are available from stock.
Pre cut in sizes ranging from 1/12" to 1/2". The most common sizes for use on large model trains are 1/4" (72" in pack) and 1/8" (144" in pack). Each package contains enough material to finish at least one large scale locomotive.
All stripes are available in white; red; yellow; blue and green.

Due to stalled negotiations with a number of Railroads regarding the use of their trademarks, we have decided not to proceed with custom decals at this time.
We found that for the large scale models, another way is possible to get these decals done and we are working on the process which will enable the skilled modeller to create their own reflective logo decals.
