(September 05, 2003) Calspeed has been slacking on the website!
Hello. It has been increasingly difficult to update my website for the past couple years. Reasons...? Well, I have now two daughters and I just dont have the time to get as invloved anymore in the hobby of Datsuns.
But even worse then not getting involved I have sold my Datsun 2000 racer. It was just not fitting into the picture anymore. I just dont have the time to maintain it or drive it on the track. And rather it sit and deteriorate I sold it to an enthusiast who drives it and takes it out often.
I will probably keep this site up for awhle as it still is popular. I will also try to update it more often. Please understand that I am just having a lack of time for everything right now.

(January 01, 2002) ZONC Expands Membership
Northern California's Premier Datsun Club, The Z Owners of NorCal has revised its charter to accept the 1964 thru 1970 Fairlady Roadsters and the 1967 thru 1973 510's in its club. This ground breaking decision was made to bring the Datsun Community closer to each other. Several BADROC, Bay Area Datsun Roadster Owners Club members have already joined up as well as several from UFO510. John Morton wins another one for Datsun 30 years later. Former Professional Racer John Morton once again races in the Datsun 510 that brought fame and fortune to Nissan. This was the first time Nissan was invited to this exclusive Vintage Event.

A 1967.5 Datsun 2000 Vintage Racer has been chosen to be one of the cars to be part of the featured marque at this years Int'l Auto Show at Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, Ca during this seven day long event. It's about time the Roadsters start getting some recognition. Check out the pictures!
