GP Profecii's Bobby Brown of
Starcats
- Bobby is a Brown Classic Tabby Exotic Shorthair (shorthaired Persian) bred by Didier
Dieufils and Becky Orlando.
Bobby has lead an interesting life so far. Bobby is an International cat; born in
France, then flown to Florida where he stayed only a short while, then off again to
Portland (again a short stay), then finally to Southern California where he arrived at
just a little over 8 mos. He stepped out of the carrier and said "I'm
Home!" He felt so comfortable with himself and his surroundings.
Always the "Teddy Bear" cat, Bobby is much loved by Jeff and all in the house! |
| CH Jordean Redd Lace
Nighty - an AKC Brittany |
 |
Lacey was bred in Colorado and shipped to me. I never saw her before she
arrived at the airport, but what a delight when I opened the crate and out she
came. She had all the right stuff! Her father (Jordean
All Kiddin' Aside) was AKC's Best Sporting Dog and Best Brittany three years
straight.
Lacey was a real challenge to show. I could never tell if she was going to be
full of the "goose" (all over the place) or right on. I often
would take my bike to the show and ride a mile or so before her judging, to calm her
down. When she was "on" - she was on. She took a Reserve
Winners Bitch at the Brittany National Summer Specialty show out of puppy class.
This is quite a feat, as I am not a professional at handling and I did all the
handling for Lacey myself.
It was difficult to find Majors here on the West Coast and I grew impatient, and so I
sent her back to her breeders in Colorado with 13 points and 1 Major. All that
was needed was the 2nd Major. Dennis Jordean put the last Major on her and she
came home to me a Champion.
I never bred Lacey, although I did consider it. However, the thought of having
13 puppies running around the house was more than I could comprehend. She is
spayed and loves running and birding in the yard. |
