My Family Heritage

My name is Melania and I am descended from Arcay's of Margarita Island,Nueva Esparta, town of Juan Griego, Venezuela. The family may have originally migrated from Europe to South America but I have no confirmed information to prove it. I am searching for any descendents of the following people who were born or resided in Venezuela in the mid to late 1800s:

Jose Manuel Arcay & Melania Salazar -dates unknown
Jose Manuel Arcay Jr. - born 1886
Emiliano Braulio Arcay - born 1888
Felipe Tomas Arcay - born 1889
Luisa Josefa Arcay - born 1890

It is possible the children of Jose Manuel and Melania may have used their mothers surname(Salazar) or a combination of Arcay and Salazar.

My Current Research

The above information was obtained from baptismal records of the Catholic Church in Juan Griego, social security and Merchant Seaman records. I have documentation placing Emiliano in Puerto Rico in 1920, he later moved to Brooklyn New York. It is possible his siblings may have migarated to Puerto Rico and possibly Cuba.
