My faith is in one God one son and one Holy Spirit.Iam a Christian Baptist.I was saved in 1969 at a Billy Graham Rally after "Asking God to show me the way!"in Lincoln Nebraska. I have been growing in the faith through God's Word and by prayer and through the Church.What God has taught me through these spiritual tools is to put them to practice in my daily life out in the world but not of this world.One day at a time.Trust and obey for there truly is no other way.Just because I became a born again Christian didn't mean my problems and difficulties stopped,no.Now I have a comforter and spiritual weapons that are strong and mighty against the evil dark forces of this world.God gives me a genuine peace and joy that the world cannot give! Remember we are all held accountable at judgement for good deeds and bad deeds as well as our thoughts and motives.Jesus Christ crucified and raised from the dead is the only way to God and eternal life.God being in the center of our marriage makes a "BIG" difference instead of trying to change my husband of all the irritants that bug me I pray that He will do it.Prayer works much better than "nagging!"

My most interesting experience in my life happened in 1971 when I had all my belongings in a trailer leaving ONeal Nebraska heading to Ft.Worth Texas.As was down the road a while not yet out of the state yet saw some illuminous black clouds swirlling around just ahead of me in a circular motion well before I knew it it had come upon me and lifted the car and trailer up off the ground and as I was in a frenzy yelled out to God"I'm not ready to go yet" and then the winds pushed me downward upside right in a ditch.Not hardly a scratch on my car or me everything was still intacked including me!Thank you God was so-so grateful.A State Patrolman had witnessed the whole thing off from a distance and said it truly was a miracle if he had ever seen one! I'm here today by the grace of God to tell it.

Rejecting Wisdom is not Wise

To reject wisdom is to reject God! "Simpletons! How long will you wallow in ignorance?
Cynics! How long will you feed your cynicism? Idiots! How long will you refuse to
learn?" Many men and women tried "to invent some sort of happiness for themselves
outside God-apart from God." CS Lewis. Wisdom earns for a return to life's most
basic need: God's pure and holy wisdom. In the N.T. such a turning would require
confession of sin and repentance. "A stubborn will stiff arms reproofs.
Have ductal carcinoma breast cancer stage 1, will be going for surgery Nov.18'05
Then will find out about further tratments. Please pray.

Statement of Faith
The Most Important Decision
you will make in your life is accepting Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior and
Lord! We hope you will and please read the “Salvation Plan .“ You
will be glad you did!
My Testimony I received
Jesus Christ into my life in 1968 at a Billy Graham Evangelistic Crusade. I have
been growing in Him ever since then with ups and downs but He has always been
there too help me! The Christian life is not always easy but with the help of
His Holy Spirit and His Bible I keep growing in the Christian Faith. I attend
South Main Baptist Church with my husband. He became a Christian in 1960.

We Must Receive Christ
"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God,
even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12)
We Receive Christ Through Faith
"By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is
the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast" (Ephesians
2:8,9).
When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth
(Read John 3:1-8.)
We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation
[Christ speaking] "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My
voice and opens the door, I will come in to him" (Revelation 3:20).
Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be."
