There are hundreds of books about cats, probably thousands if the domestic cat books are included. This list contains the ones referred to in preparing this Website together with a selection of other titles. The inclusion or omission of a particular book from the list does not imply its endorsement or condemnation although we have tried to include the really excellent and omit the really dreadful ones.
It is important to realise that a book apparently dedicated to one species may also contain valuable information about others related to it or found in the same area.
