Christine Guerrera, MFT, founder of Insights has committed ten years to the human service and education professions. Insights is a wellness center which offers a comprehensive and systemic approach to psychotherapy with the compassion and understanding of stressors brought on by life's demands of raising a family, maintaining relationships and self-esteem as well as maintaining high academic and work performance standards.
The therapists at Insights seek to provide healing and increased quality of life and relationships to their clients. As Marriage and Family Therapists and Certified Educators, we specialize in school, family and personal therapy issues such as: declining academic performance, school changes and discipline problems, truancy, depression, divorce, bereavement, healthy and empowering parenting approaches, alcohol and substance abuse, blending families, mid-life, low self-esteem, run aways, retirement, living with adolescents, psychosomatic illness, sexuality, aging, adding family members, and relationship unhappiness.
Insights is working towards forming a relationship with the local school systems to be a resource to teachers, students and their families. We have developed several therapy groups for people/students of all ages and needs with the goal of serving as prevention, healing and enrichment. The therapists provide interventions that can be used in the home and classroom.
With the level of pressures being placed on families, educators and students, the therapists at Insights hold the knowledge and experience to network and collaborate. We serve as the glue necessary to bring all together who desire the same goal...safety, health and wellness.
