Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki OVA

Click on a picture to see a larger version of it. All pictures were originally drawn in pencil. I wanted to color them with pencils, but I didn't have the right colors. So I tried coloring them on the computer with Adobe Photodeluxe. I'm really glad I did that, because the finished product looks pretty clean, sort of like an animation cel. So what's the deal with Ryoko's hair color in the pictures?? I was experimenting with different pictures downloaded from the internet that I used as the color palette. Seems like I didn't get it quite right. Whatever. All of the pictures will be colored, eventually. Tenchi Muyo has been one of my favorites ever since I first saw it on TV. After watching it on DVD, I was amazed at how much was edited for TV. I especially liked how everyday life in the household such as cooking, eating at the dinner table and working in the garden is incorporated in this comical anime. Hopefully the upcoming 3rd OVA (Original Video Animation) will resolve the lingering questions left unanswered by the previous two.
