General Information about the Creme d'Argent Rabbit
Background of the Creme d'Argent
The Creme d'Argent rabbit originated in France, as did its counterpart, the
Champagne d'Argent. The difference is in the color. The Creme can best be
described as "Orange Silver". They first made their appearance in this country in 1934 and since then have attracted quite a following, having many admirers because of their luxurious and richly colored fur.
General Description of the "Creme"
The Creme d'Argent type is similar to the Champagne, but being somewhat
smaller. The standard calls for well developed hindquarters, deep, thick loin,
broad well developed shoulders, slightly arched back, tapering towards

to be creamy white with an orange cast. Undercolor to be bright orange carried
