About the Teacher
Bachelor's of Music-Cello Performance from the University of Illinois, U-C, and Graduate coursework in cello performance and Early Music at Longy School of Music.
Extensive musical training in Brazil including high exposure to the violin, the viola and the piano (instruments I have been teaching, besides the cello, at the schools mentioned below) besides having taken voice as a minor in college and conservatory.
Studies of the Alexander Technique throughout the university years and one trimester of its teachers training course.
For the last two years have performed professionally with an orchestra in Massachusetts and have taught at an after-school music program in the Boston area. I have also been teaching private students in Cambridge and Worcester as well as at a community music school in Worcester and Shrewsbury.

About the Lessons
Teaching young (Suzuki age) children and adult beginners through pre-college/high-intermediate level students of any age.
I can also tutor college performance students either musically or with technical and/or easiness of playing skills.
For anyone who desires to improve technique and boldness through the help of someone very experienced with the Alexander Technique.
For someone who needs help coming back playing after any sort of injury or any restrictive ailment.
I would also teach students with learning disabilities or other type of restriction.
I would like to be told what it is, though, before starting, so that I can better approach this student's learning.
