Central Academy is located on a sixteen acre campus in Macon, Mississippi. The school held its first classes in the fall of 1968. It is controlled by the Headmaster and an eleven-member Board of Directors.
Central has recently been reaccredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Pictured to the right is Dr. Allen Smithers (SACS Review Committe Chairman) presenting Headmaster Brach White with the Certificate of Accreditation. A big thanks goes out to all the faculty, Board members, and parents who worked so hard to make our reaccreditation happen!
The school offers classes from K-4 through 12 and currently has 250 students enrolled. Our purpose is to offer each student a quality education, and in so doing, we hope to furnish outstanding leaders in the years to come.
