Thousands of people from around the world sent a piece of ribbon, hemp, string, or other fiber to The Thread Project: One World, One Cloth. The collected threads were tied into a long strand called the Unity Thread, which was woven into seven world cloths. These cloths celebrate the boldness of our cultural diversity and the unity of our human hearts. Upon completion, these cloths will hang in nations throughout the world, reminding people that we are, ultimately, a global family of one.
