I am looking for any information on Ursula Zuber, her husband Hans Heinrich Felder and their son Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr. direct kin.

Ursula Zuber, Hans Heinrich Felder and Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr., Captain came to Orangeburgh, South Carolina after July 13, 1735.

Ursula Zuber was born in Wattwil, St. Gallen, Switzerland and Hans Heinrich Felder was born in Kappel, St. Gallen, Switzerland. Both Ursula Zuber and Hans Heinrich Felder died in Orangeburgh Township, South Carolina.

Before Ursula Zuber and Hans Heinrich Felder came to Orangeburgh, South Carolina they had eight children. Six of these children had died before Ursula Zuber and Hans Heinrich Felder left for Orangeburgh, South Carolina.

I feel their last child Johannes Felder came with them and died shortely after ariving at Orangeburgh, South Carolina

Henry (Heinrich) Felder, their 4th child was born Bef. Mar 21, 1726 in Wattwil, St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr., Captain died Feb 12, 1780 close to Orangeburgh, South Carolina.

Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr., Captain was shot, at his home in a fire fight with some Tories.

What happen in this fight was Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr., Captain his 7 boys, his second wife Catharine Magdalena Snell, his house keeper and his forman keep the guns loaded.

The Felder's was getting the best of the Tories, so they with drew from the fight.

After the Tories left, Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr. sent his boys to head off the Tories and ambush them at a certain location.

Before the Tories got to where the ambush was to take place the Tories desided they would go back and finish what they came there to do.

This time the Tories set fire to the barn and the fire spread to the house.

The Felder boy's was not there at the house when the Tories came back.

The best thing at that time was for Henry to escape into the woods and hide until his boys come back.

The Tories saw Henry Felder boot's when he was cross a fence.

The Tories shot Henry Felder and he died several day's later.

Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr., Captain, was married twice.

His 1st wife was Mary Elizabeth Shaumlöffel, daughter of Anna Marie (Dirr) During and Johannes (John) Shaumlöffel, Sr.

His 2nd wife was Catharina Magdalena Snell, daughter of Margaretta Ann Utsey and John Adam Snell, Sr.

Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr., Captain, was the father of 16 children.

There were 9 children by his 1st wife and 7 children by his 2nd wife.

All of his children were born in Orangeburgh Township, South Carolina.

After Henry death his wife Catharina Magdalena Snell took her children and moved to Bamberg County.

When she did this the Felder's was knows and the Orangeburg Felder's and the Bamberg Felder's.

Henry (Heinrich) Felder, Sr., Captain, last son was David Felder and David is my 3rd Great Grandfather.
