Although we offer seclusion and privacy, we are only 2 blocks from town where you and your family can see a first-run movie, shop for souvenirs and antiques, sample local dining or just enjoy a luscious dessert at one of our many local ice cream parlors! For those who wish to wander further afield, day trips let you sample everything that the Adirondacks have to offer, including exciting Lake George which is only 30 minutes away. Located just off the Northway and within easy driving distance of the New York State Thruway, Chamlar Lakefront Cottages and Family Resort has it all!

All of our cottages are rented by the week (or two if you're so inclined!), from Saturday to Saturday, with check-in at 3:00 p.m. Your kitchen will be fully equipped and ready to go...just add food and your favorite Margarita mix! Alas, with a large family of my own to take care of, I am not able to do linens and towels, so please bring your own. Check with me as to bed sizes within your cottage. Cottage features vary, so please inquire as to what's available in the unit you're interested in. Children under the age of two don't count in the number of persons allowed per cottage. Also, please remember, Chamlar has a "No Pets" rule! A non-refundable deposit is required to hold all reservations. Call or e-mail me with any questions you might have.
