You've seen him before on almost every Nintendo system. Of course, this character is the Italian plumber Mario. He is Nintendo's mascot and main character. Some of his moves are new, but his fireball move is old. He is okay, but not great in this game. His best move is his tornado move.

The pink puffball from Game Boy makes his first ever appearence in 3-d! He is my favorite character and he can be really tough to beat. His stone move knocks out people easily and his final cutter can take on many people. But don't forget, he can swallow other characters and then he can use their B move

The kid from Hyrule is back, except this time he has no help from a fairy (Navi). He is not really good but he can be fun to use if you are an advanced player. All of his moves are old, from the Ocarina of Time. The obvious problem is that his bomb can hurt himself and that his B up move can take him too high.

It's that egg laying dinosaur again. Eggcept this time he has some newer moves. In this game he is bad. His moves are almost useless except his pound whigh is good, but it can't protect you like Kirby's can. Forgive me if you like Yoshi, but he is one of the two worst characters in this game (the other being Jigglypuff).

The main monkey from Game Boy makes his second 3-d appearance on N64. This character is so huge it is not even funny. He is the only character that can carry around barrels and boxes. Also if you have over 75% damage and he uses his Mega Punch it WILL hurt.

The fox hrom Star Fox is abck on N64. Fox is the second best character on my game (Kirby is first). His fire fox move sends opponents up in flames. His B move is a permanent ray gun which never runs out. But don't forget, his reflector move can send enemy attacks right where they came from.

The famous shocking rodent from Pokemon is powered up as always. Except this time he is faster and stronger. His Thunder is really powerful and you don't want to get hit by it. His thunder jolt can get really annoying when he repeatedly shocks you with it.

She is the only female of the original eight characters. Nintendo says she is from Metroid. I have not played any of the games she stars in. Her moves are okay. But one of them, the Charge Shot, is really good. I really don't know much about her since I have not played her games.
