Family History (in brief!)
Cadwalader EVANS (my only non-German/Swiss ancestor) immigrated from Wales about 1786 and settled in Pennyslvania.

Charles FUNK moved to Ohio in 1821 and settled in Tuscarawas County in 1860.

Jacob HOCHSTETLER immigrated to the U. S. in 1738.  From there, his great grandson, Peter, moved to Tuscarawas County in 1818.

William HUFF and his family immigrated from Germany to Tuscarawas County in 1832.

Hans KRIEG and his family sailed from Bern, Switzerland in 1851 and although Hans died on the voyage here, his widow and children continued on and bought farm land in Tuscarawas County.

Christian LOEFFLER, at the age of 14, came here from Schleidorf, Germany with his parents in 1856.

Charles RETZER, following in the footsteps of his two older brothers, immigrated to Tuscarawas County in 1863

Peter SEIBERT came to Ohio about 1842 and settled in Tuscarawas County between 1861-1862.
