Cheer Angels Pro-Open All Star Team

Got Cheer Fever?

Cheer Angels is an all star squad located in Chicago,Illinois that is currently recruiting interested former cheerleaders,gymnasts, and/or dancers. We are looking for women and men who would like to participate. The team practices once-twice a week for a few hours. It is fairly laid back. The only costs are for nationals and a small uniform fee. Anyone who is interested may participate, although there is a size limit and we would prefer individuals with some tumbling and stunting experience so we can attend nationals. We will be competing in the open and pro-open all star division. You must be at least 18 years of age and not affiliated with a school squad. Practices will begin in September. Team Requirements

The requirements listed apply for both men and women:

toe touch
front or side hurdler
pike
standing flip-flop
roundoff flip-flop series
standing back tuck
toss hands
heel stretch
full dismount

These requirements are the minimum that we would like team members to be able to demonstrate. Although, those demonstrating exemplary abilities in other areas may be able to make up for lacking other abilities.

Tryouts

Tryouts will be held in July/August; dates TBA
If you would like to tryout by video please make sure it includes the requirements listed above. It must be a VHS tape. Label the tape with your name address and date of birth and please enclose the tryout application with the tape. Email me at cheerangels11@aol.com for tryout applications.
