In JENNIE'S REPRISAL, Carol Bennett sees so many aspects of our lives ... many of which none of us have ever previously considered. Her ideas and perspective are loose and free, and not tied to our present lives and current viewpoints of relationships or societal "oughts" and "shoulds." Couldn't stop reading JENNIE'S REPRISAL, didn't want to miss anything. As a science fiction enthusiast, I appreciated Carol Bennett's unique mix of science fiction and science fact. I felt like I was actually there, living this incredible story of Jennie Gravatt's soul spanning 20,000 years. Recognized, and even sympathized with, the gender equity issues that surfaced from one time period to another.

I loved JENNIE'S REPRISAL and am haunted by the girl who dreamed she was a butterfly who dreamed she was a girl. I could be that person. Jennie stirred my emotions and made me yearn to find my own past so I too can sort out my future. Are we all lucky enough to have a Raimone somewhere out there?

Attended a book signing by Carol Bennett at a Maryland bookstore; she is as interesting as her novel. Now editing her second novel and writing her third, Bennett will soon hit the best sellers list. Read JENNIE'S REPRISAL in three sittings as it held my interest and I especially wanted to see what would happen to Jennie and her off-spring in the "next life." I loved the twist to the actual "reprisal" and also the gender equity theme that ran throughout the reading. You are in for an adventure. This is a a geat book, and I should know, as I am a master reader. So excited about JENNIE'S REPRISAL that I became Bennett's Literary Agent AND I want everyone to read it.

I bonded with the words in this story, and took it all in. There were many things within the book that I personally related to, and totally understood. So much so that in some areas, I got chills. I especially related to the parts about Emily and her role in the future ... my mind was going a mile a minute.
