passed away after complications from
a liver transplant. anni was a Vietnam
vet, serving three tours of duty in Nam &
some of her poetry reflects her experiences there.

Laughter is a wondrous way of healing
the hurts in life.

I tend to think that we all have lives
that are like a maze of wondrous twists
and turns, with our greatest sense of self
hidden away for our protection
in a Stone Room somewhere.
The Stone Room is where all the
feelings & laughter, thoughts & tears,
nightmares, visions, & hopes
are hidden within each of us.
