"Home is Where the Heart Is and My Heart Belongs in Chicago"

Phillip was into hanging out, having fun, and being with his "boys", his friends. He would do anything for his friends. He was a shy boy, who loved his family and loved family get togethers. He did not have a mean bone in his body. He adored his sisters and loved his girlfriend. He loved being with his cousins, he loved wrestling with them, playing basketball, playing music, etc. He wanted to be a Sportswriter. As big as Phillip was, his heart was much bigger, he was a giving and caring boy who had a lot of compassion for the victims of this world. He was known to feed the bums on the streets, bringing them food, giving them money. Phillip had so much to live for. He wanted to go back to Chicago "just one more time" to see all his friends, see family, have some summer fun, before starting college in the fall. He went back to Chicago "just one more time", unfortunately it was "his last time".

MY STORY.....

Philly was only 17 years old. He was murdered on 8/9/99 in Chicago on Kimball and Irving Park. Anyone who can help in finding his killer should contact 312-746-8282. There is a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

From your Mother & Father:

Phillip, there isn't a day that we don't miss you. We have so much pain, so much anguish for the suffering you did. We would trade our lives for yours in a minute. I hope that the person who did this to you will one day come face to face with you in the presence of God and realize what a horrible thing he did to such a wonderful boy. "Everyday we live brings us one day closer to you, my son." I live in such pain everyday and it will never get better. We never got to tell you goodbye, or how much we love you. I Miss you so much, my son.... I LOVE YOU FOREVER, AND WILL NEVER LET GO...
