TRANSIT ROUTES - PAST AND PRESENTMany of today's bus routes in Northern Kentucky have histories which can be traced back to streetcars, and even horse cars.
BUS AND STREETCAR ROSTERSBuses have operated in the Covington/Newport area since 1910. The last streetcars ran in 1950, and trolleybuses operated from 1937 to 1958.
NORTHERN KENTUCKY TRANSIT FACILITIESThe various carhouses in the Covington/Newport area were eventually replaced with a single modern bus garage.
