Recent additions and changes to this site.
New track diagrams added, using Google satellite imagery. This include former B&O, GTW, Monon, and NKP main lines through Indiana. Many existing track diagrams had been earlier updated, using Google satellite imagery. Also added was a completed track diagram for the Metra extension to Manhattan. (added July 30)
Scanned images of all weekday timetables from the main commuter railroads serving Chicago, from various eras. (added July 13)
Section expanded to include obscure commuter trains throughout the country, which existed in 1930. (added May 29)
Section expanded to include arriving and departing trains during various eras, from the largest cities throughout the entire United States. Most recently added are trains serving various Sun Belt cities, along with what now is the Northeast Corridor. (added May 13)
Web sites of transit systems throughout the United States checked, containing most recent information on transit routes, enabling tracing of the route histories back to early bus and streetcar days. (added March 22)
