Dear Parents,
This year certainly is flying by. There are some important upcoming dates that we wanted to make you aware of.
April 4th will be the coloring of the Easter Eggs. We are asking each child to bring one dozen hard boiled eggs on that Sunday. All members of St. Michaels are welcome to join us for coloring of the eggs.
April 11th is Easter Sunday and we will be having the Easter Egg hunt after the 10:30 service. This is another great tradition at St. Michaels.
April 18th there will be no Sunday School classes due to the Easter break.
May 16th will be the last class for Sunday School. On May 23rd we will hold our Sunday school graduation. All parents and other members of St. Michaels are welcome to attend. To make our final week together special we will be having a lock in on Saturday, May 22nd. Everyone is invited to attend.
Vacation Bible school dates have been selected. Vacation Bible school will be June 28th through July 2nd. As more information becomes available I will keep you posted. We are looking for 4 teachers and 4 aides to assist with Vacation Bible school. If you are interested please see Karen Robb.
July 30th we have a reservation to spend the night at the Seneca Park Zoo. The cost is $27.00 per child. We will be in need of chaperones for the event. The zoo requires one chaperone for every 4 children. The cost of the event covers pizza for dinner and a snack before bed. We dont have any more details yet but we will keep you posted.
