VHS offers approx. 230 vertical lines of resolution, whereas DVD allows for a full 620 lines, thus enhancing picture clarity to that similar to broadcast. Furthermore, having your event recorded in stereo sound, DVD also offers the ability to playback your soundtrack at CD quality (16-bit, 48kHz).
