My Bio
My name is Aaron Mathews. I have lived long enough to have arrived at the age of 34.
I am a drummer, keyboardist, lyricist, and bassist. I have had the pleasure of being in the same space as type o negative, who have inspired my music, both in writing and performance style since 1994.
I had waist length black hair until my recent encounter with a batch of rogaine which was mixed by a dyslexic. I have blue eyes (white when rolled back as I often do when playing live!), I'm 5 foot even, thus I'm short, you can get the rest of my attributes from this info....
I have tattoos, Im sleeved...

NOD
You arrive at the show, there's a blood red lighting, smoke, black candles, the keys begin playing, you hear a steady blend of keyboards, guitar, bass, and drums, dark n slow, with enough intense depth that grabs the unsuspecting listener, you've ventured into the territory known as NoD, the adventure begins....
I began Nod in 2003. It was formed by myself.
The concept was my pre-existence in a darkened world filled with recurring let-downs and life in its very trenches, which led to my spiritual awakening of happy things such as the end of the world, Armageddon, spirit battle, etc, which will be the stuff disc 2 is made of. I had written a lot of material, but lacked appendages to play all instruments at once. So, I pulled in Sal Famularo on guitar/vox. Then Kerry daly on keys and cuteness. I fired Sal as his head did not fit in the practice room much longer than it took him to gather a fourth chord in his trusty guitarist reportoire. Kerry and myself continued to work and we hired Pete O. He was immature, not especially talented, and wanted to steal the material. So I dropped the band. I currently have all rights to the name, NOD, the music, lyrics, etc.
After this, I secluded to the practice room, where I single handedly cleaned up the work and recorded it to disc. My songs "The Dream is Dead" and "For What it's Worth" hit the airwaves here in Utica NY where virtually noone will hear much less remember it!
In August 2005, I added the indestructible Ryan Muensch on drums! Ryan's bio is above, in the bio section, so read it!
