The stars of Bonanza- and plenty of other TV westerns -often made the rounds of county fairs and rodeos all over the country when they weren't filming. 'In Person!' appearances paid well for a little song-and-chat routine as people got to see their TV favorites up close and personal. Or at least as close as the grandstand. Little Joe appeared at the Fort Madison, Iowa Rodeo in 1964.
