From the Secretary: I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back Rt. Wor. Howard M Gotham, back from his winter in Florida. I especially want to thank him for bringing the Florida sunshine and heat with him! Brethren, have you been by the lodge in the last week or so? It looks terrific. Many brethren, along with their families, came by and pulled weeds, raked, vacuumed, cleaned windows, and neatened up our beautiful building and grounds. It only took an hour or so, and with many hands, the work was easy. ****Calendar raffle tickets are still available****
The calendar raffle has been by far our best fundraiser over the last several years, and it has assisted your lodge in several ways. First, it has helped us to fund the McGrath scholarship. Second, it has enabled us to keep the Restoration Fund viable so we can perform necessary maintenance and repairs to the beautiful Lodge we call home. Third, it has enabled us to raise funds on a strictly voluntary basis and not have to increase dues. ~and speaking of dues~
Dues, Dues, Dues: Brethren, I cannot stress this point enough. The Lodge has already paid your assessment to Grand Lodge for the year so if you are one of those Brothers that don’t have a current dues card please think about taking care of that part of your obligation. (If for some reason you cannot meet your financial obligation, please contact the WM or the Sec. Thank You!)
Clinton Lodge Milan H McGrath Scholarship. Once again, Your lodge will be giving a local student with a Masonic tie a scholarship. The application deadline is early May, and the secretary has applications.
We are in the twenty first century and the Clinton Lodge web page address is: http://hometown.aol.com/clintonlodge/index.html
If you would like to receive this trestleboard via email, I would be happy to send it that way. If just 15 brethren choose to get their trestleboard via email, it would save enough to pay the dues for one brother who may be falling on hard times financially. Email the secretary at BigBill@NobleRE.com if you would like to participate.

It is always a great time for brotherhood and fellowship, and your support of the lodge is warmly appreciated. Also, a special thanks to the brethren who came out with their families to help spruce up the Lodge last week. It looks great and should make us all feel proud to be a part of it! Also, a special thank you to all the local Masters for helping out with the Master Mason degree, and a warm welcome to brothers Cowled, Connolly, and Webber!!
