SpottedHawk enjoys making traditional Native American crafts, braintanning deer skin (the indian way), pow wow's, native dancing, drumming, fishing, genealogy research, but most of all, spending time with his family.
SpottedHawk is married to FallingLeaf. They have four wonderful children: StandingDeer, LittleDove, SpottedFox, and the newest member of the family, little RedEagle.

SpottedHawk is a member of the Edisto Tribe of the Natchez-Kusso. He is also a member of the Four Holes Indian Organization's Tribal Council. The tribe is located in the beautiful Low Country region of South Carolina. The Edisto Tribe was originally called the Kusso-Natchez but do to constant confusion from the government, the tribe opted to change the name to "Edisto". The people of the Edisto Tribe have always lived on or near the Edisto River. The tribe numbers more than 800 members. Our current leader is Chief Matthew Creel. I would like to personally thank Chief Creel and his wife, Pearl, for being an inspiration to me, giving me insights on my ancestry and geneology, and for being such excellent role models for our entire tribe.
