Rock Crossing
These creatures can be seen running in small family groups, the young clinging to their mothers in the manner of many primate species. While still very small, the babies usually cling to the breast and chest hairs, using a powerful grip. The male tends to take up the rear, to guard for creeping carnivores and such things as would attack from the brush. They're not known to be fighters, preferring to scramble to the trees when danger threatens, but when young are present and vulnerable, both sexes can kick some serious rump.
