(otherwise known as CFIDS, CFS, or FM) and returned home to Greensboro to convalesce.  Her essay, "The Politics of Victimization" was posted on the internet late in the fall after the 2006 presidential elections, read by over 2 million people, and reprinted in papers and journals nation-wide.
Currently, she growing toward vibrant health with the help of yoga, the Servant Leadership School, and her husband, with whom she is writing a book about the end of the world.  The future, as always, is gloriously opaque.

Johnny Knight resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wife Anne and their cat Ripley.  Johnny and Anne recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary by eating large helpings of stale, frozen cake.  Johnny has been working as a performing arts photogrpher for the past three years and he continues to pursue playwriting in his diminishing spare time.  In July 2003, his play EXTREM UNCTION was featured in the Prop Theatre's National New Play festival.
Johnny is also a founding member of the Chicago Photography Center, a nonprofit photography education program.  Despite having little formal education in photography, he is the instructor of two courses on Portraiture and Lighting.  Every time a new class session starts, he's aware that his students may know more than he does.  Fortunately, he has absorbed more than a little knowledge through teaching, and he feels less like a phony every day.
Johnny is extremely grateful for all of the opportunities that life has offered him, including the Myatt Scholarship.  He would like to have taken advantage of those opportunities more fully.  He would like to spend more time with friends, such as fellow Myatt Scholarship winner Kathryn Deaton, who lives within jogging distance.  He would like more time to read.  He would like more time to write.  He would like to keep an open mind about the future.
