Alpha-Numeric Patterns Discovered Within The English Alphabet:
Abstract of Preliminary Work

This work is an extension of my research into possible connections between the UFO/ET phenomeon and certain aspects of the occult and the paranormal, including the "GREK-5 Contact", a personal experience involving apparent communication, through paranormal means, with intelligent beings from another world; namely a planet designated as "Grek-5".
The work laid out in this paper makes reference to something I call the Grek-5 Numerical Pyramid. Basically, this is a triangular diagram originally conceived by T.R., one of the other two people involved in the Grek-5 Contact. He claims it was "inspired" by the contact experience but he really was not sure why he felt compelled to draw it. In its original form it was quite basic, consisting mainly of the large triangle with all of the inner triangles numbered 1 through 100. T.R. had noted a few numerical patterns within the diagram. When he showed it to me I found even more patterns. The more I explored the diagram, the more I found. I may still not have exhausted all the possibilities. It is interesting to note that T.R. intuitively felt there was a "conceptual" connection between the triangular diagram and the word "Grek". Intuitively, he felt that "Grek" meant "all" or "one" as in "a whole". In a way he was right. I discovered that, numerologically, GREK-5 equals 1. Similarly, the total of all the numbers within the structure of the Grek-5 Pyramid equals 1. In addition to the Grek-5 connection there is a curious connection between this work and the number "9". It would disrupt the purpose of this paper to include a complete discussion of the "9 phenomenon" but in order to provide at least some idea of how it fits into the picture, I've included a brief excerpt from my novel, "CONVERGENCE", which is based on our contact experience.
Alpha-numeric Patterns Discovered Within The English Alphabet:
ITEM 1:
The work laid out in this paper is based on a straight alpha/numeric system of A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on throughout the alphabet. In the case of the letters with double digit values, such as P=16, the number is distilled to its single digit value. In the case of P, for example, the single digit would be 7 (1+6=7), therefore P=7.
EXAMPLE 1:
The value of "9" is encoded within the structure of the alphabet. The key to unlocking it is, essentially, by folding the alphabet directly in half.
The following example shows how the value of 9 is encoded within the structure of the alphabet. It is revealed by folding the alphabet in half. Envision the alphabet written out along a ribbon. Now fold the ribbon in half, directly between the two middle letters, M and N. If you were to hold the folded ribbon up to a light you would see the 26 letters now form 13 pairs of letters. The first pair is A/Z. The second pair is B/Y, and so on all the way to the end where you have M/N.
Now combine the Alpha-Numeric Value (ANV) of the first letter "A" with the ANV of the last letter "Z", and add them together. Do the same with each pair of letters. Thus, [A]1+ [Z] 26 = 27. Reduced, 2+7=9. The same with B added to Y, and C added to X, and so on.
RESULTING PATTERN (each instance reduced to single digit of 9):
A+Z=27=9, B+Y=27=9, C+X=27=9, D+W=27=9, E+V=27=9, F+U=27=9, G+T=27=9, H+S=27=9, I+R=27=9, J+Q=27=9, K+P=27=9, L+O=27=9, M+N=27=9
Some interesting notes at this point:
1) Note that the alphanumeric value of the word "CODE" is 27.
2) The number 27 is the number of letters in the Hebrew alphabet (when the 5 vowels are added to the 22 consonants). This may be a symbolic link between the Hebrew alphabet and the Roman/English alphabet, which might lend some justification to the idea of using the Roman/English alphabet as a tool of gematria.
3) This "folding" process results in 13 pairs of letters. The number 13 is important to the whole Mayan calendar system. Interestingly and synchronistically, the reduced ANV of the word THIRTEEN is 9! Moreover, the ANV of TWENTY SIX is 6. Then 9x6=54, the same as the ANV of the word MAYAN which is 54! Coincidence or encoded clue?
4) 13 x 27 = 351, the mirror version of the ANV of the name of the Aztec/Toltec god, QUETZALCOATL, the ANV of which equals 153. Also the sum of the alphanumeric values of the letters in the english alphabet is 351. Notice both 351 and 153 reduce to 9 when the digits are cross added.
5) The ANV of KUKULCAN (the Mayan name for the same god) is 94 which reduces to 13 at the first level of reduction.
The next item shows patterns, not within the alphabet itself, but within the series of numbers 1 through 9 when the alphabet is used to convert those numbers into word form (or what I call "alphanumbers"):
Take the series of numbers, 1 thru 9.
Assign to each number (shown in parentheses) its English language equivalent:
(1)ONE, (2)TWO, (3)THREE, (4)FOUR, (5)FIVE, (6)SIX, (7)SEVEN, (8)EIGHT, (9)NINE.
Resulting Pattern: The words divide equally into three color-coded groups catagorized by the number of letters in each word; 3-letters, 4-letters, 5-letters:
Group 1 (3-letters) consists of: ONE, TWO, SIX.
Group 2 (4-letters) consists of: FOUR, FIVE, NINE.
Group 3 (5-letters) consists of: THREE, SEVEN, EIGHT.
The following is the series "ONE" through "NINE" laid out in consecutive order, with the Groups identified by color:
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE
NOTE: It is interesting to see there is even a pattern to the "gaps" found within the "groups":
- Each Group contains one Gap.
- Each Gap consists of 3 alphanumbers
Let's identify the Gaps as:
- Gap1 (consisting of the alphanumbers THREE, FOUR, FIVE)
- Gap2 (consisting of the alphanumbers FOUR, FIVE, SIX)
- Gap3 (consisting of the alphanumbers SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT)
Again, the following is the series "ONE" through "NINE" laid out in consecutive order, with the Groups identified by color:
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE
Using the color coding it is easy to see the Gaps. For example, the gap in Group 1 comes between the TWO and the SIX. We have identified that Gap as "Gap1" (consisting of the alphanumbers THREE, FOUR, FIVE). Similarly, the gap in Group 2 comes between the FIVE and the NINE. We have identified that Gap as "Gap3" (consisting of the alphanumbers SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT). Finally, the Gap in Group 3 comes between the THREE, and the SEVEN. We have identified that Gap as "Gap2" (consisting of the alphanumbers FOUR, FIVE, SIX).
Pattern: Regarding the Group/Gap patterns noted above, we have noted yet another pattern within those. We have shown that each Group consists of 3 alphanumbers. Then we have shown that the consecutive order of the alphanumbers in each group is interrupted by a Gap.
Now notice that within each Group, while all three alphanumbers are in numerical order from smaller to larger (ex: Group 1 consists of: ONE, TWO, SIX) two of the alphanumbers are Consecutive Without Interruption (CWI). For example:
- In Group 1 (ONE, TWO, SIX) the two CWI are ONE, TWO.
- In Group 2 (FOUR, FIVE, NINE) the two CWI are FOUR, FIVE.
- In Group 3 (THREE, SEVEN, EIGHT) the two CWI are SEVEN, EIGHT.
Now, regarding the Gaps, it is interesting to note that in each Group the Gap falls only between the CWI and the third character of the Group. In any group of 3 objects there are only two empty spaces; they are between objects 1 and 2 , and between objects 2 and 3. In other words, the two empty spaces are only located on either side of the central object. In our case here, there is, in a sense, a "program" built into the system which will not allow the Gap in any group to fall between the two alphanumbers which are CWI. It occurred to me that if our base series of 1 through 9 were considered, by way of analogy, to be an organic system, this Group/Gap pattern could be considered analogous to a portion of the system's DNA structure. If this Group/Gap pattern, or DNA strand, were to be altered in any way, the entire system would fall apart.
[ NOTE OF RELATED INTEREST:
A researcher named Marko Rodin (Marco Rodin's Toroid Sunflower Map (doubling+3, 9, 6, etc. gap sequence http://shaka.com/~kalepa/dblcirct.gif) has made an interesting discovery. It has to do with the method of "cross-adding" multidigit numbers, such as 26 for example, to reduce them to a single digit. In the case of our example we see 26 reduces to 8 by adding the 2 to the 6. Rodin showed that a repeating pattern of numbers is derived by the method in the cross addition of the powers of two (1, 2, 4, 8, etc.). The repeating pattern is:: 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5 . This pattern continues indefinitely. If we continued from the 5, we'd end up with 1 again, since doubling the 5 equals 10 and 1+0=1. Double the 1 is 2, and so on.
(If you didn't follow this, each number in this series is twice the number just before it. The 7 comes from 8+8=16, then cross-adding the two digits of the number 16: 1+6=7. The 5 comes from 7+7=14, then 1+4=5)
Notice that the numbers 3, 6, and 9 are missing. The missing numbers are thought to be a "gap space" pattern, related to the torus spiral, the shape of which, I'm told, is governed by the Fibonacci sequence. It also happens that in my discovery of the patterns within our alphabet (as shown above), these alphabet patterns produce the exact same series, 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5, except that they are in alpha-form (i.e., ONE, TWO, FOUR, FIVE, SEVEN, EIGHT) and in a different sequence. Notice the exact same 3-6-9 gap spacing. That is to say, the "alpha-numbers" THREE, SIX, and NINE are missing. Can this possibly be mere coincidence? If not, then what connections are in play here? ]
Pattern: Note that where the CWI falls within each group is not 100% consistent, i.e., Group 3 is not the same as Group 1 and Group 2 .
In Group 1 and Group 2 the CWI is the first two alphanumbers. In Group 3 the CWI is the last two alphanumbers. There would seem to be an inconsistency of pattern here.
However, note that when the base series of numbers 1 through 9 are laid out in a square table (shown below), a consistency of pattern emerges. The CWIs of each color-coded group can easily be seen to group into a pattern whereby each CWI falls into the first two boxes of each row (blue-blue, yellow-yellow, and pink-pink).

Pattern: The reduced numerical value of each Group equals 9:
Group 1: 1+2+6= 9
Group 2: 4+5+9=18, then 1+8= 9
Group 3: 3+7+8=18, then 1+8= 9
ITEM 2:
Assign the appropriate alpha-numeric value to each of the english words in the series of
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, using A=1, B=2, C=3, etc.
For example: ONE--> O=15 or 1+5=6, N=14 or 1+4=5, E=5 --> 6+5+5=16 or 7, therefore, the reduced alpha-numeric value of the word (or alphanumber) "ONE" is 7.
Result:
ONE=7, TWO=4, THREE=2, FOUR=6, FIVE=6, SIX=7, SEVEN=2, EIGHT=4, NINE=6
Pattern:
Interestingly, only four numbers appear in the entire series: 2, 4, 6, and 7.
Consecutively, they appear in three sets:
Set 1: [7-4-2-6]
Set 2: [6-7-2-4]
Set 3: [6]
Pattern:
The consecutive pattern of the series is: [7-4-2-6] followed by [6-7-2-4] followed by [6], and continues on indefinitely in that repeated order. Let us call these the "Minor Sets" and the complete series of numbers from 1 thru 9 let us call the "Major Set".

They are 1, 8, and 9. This is the same series of set totals found on the GREK-5 NUMERICAL PYRAMID . On the Pyramid, beginning at the bottom level (LEVEL10) we have 19 triangles identified as "82" thru "100". On the next level up (LEVEL 9), we have 17 triangles identified as "65" thru "81". Moving up to the next level (LEVEL 8), we have "50" thru "64". Doing the math and distilling to single digits we see:
LEVEL 10 = 1
LEVEL 09 = 8
LEVEL 08 = 9
It continues in that pattern all the way to the top of the Pyramid: 1-8-9, 1-8-9, 1-8-9, ending with a 1 at the top.
Interesting Note of The Synchronicity Underlying This Work:
As noted in the above section on the alpha-numeric patterns, there is a sequence of numbers which appears as 1-8-9 (back to this in a moment). Also as noted in the introduction to the article on Crowley/Zahi Hawass there are connections between my Grek-5 experience, the Crowley issue, Zahi Hawass, and the CryptoNumerology research I've been doing. What has not been emphasized to this point is the phenomenon of "synchronicity" which has pervasively accompanied this work as well as events in my daily life. As this work continues I am becoming convinced that "synchronicity" is the underlying foundation of this work.
The latest synchronistic discovery is this:
Regarding the 1-8-9 sequence, I discovered there are only eight letters in the entire 26-letter alphabet which have the reduced numerical value of either 1 or 8 or 9. Out of those eight letters four of them spell ZAHI, the first name of Dr. Hawass, the Director of Antiquities At Giza in Egypt. (See my article on Crowley .
If you had trouble comprehending all the analysis on this page, don't be discouraged. It seems confusing at first because the concepts are unfamiliar and there are a heck of a lot of elements involved. It takes a bit of concentration and it helps if you have the time to sit down with a pencil and paper and begin making some of the calculations yourself. Pretty soon you'll have one of those "Ah ha!" moments and it'll all fall into place.
