Crabwood Crop Circle Code

Similarities to Williamson ET Communications

by

Gary Val Tenuta

When I read the decoded message in the Crabwood crop formation it rang a bell. No pun intended regarding the words "BELL SOUND" but that phrase was, in fact, part of what struck me as somewhat familiar.

I have an old copy of The Saucers Speak by George H. Williamson and Alfred C. Bailey (New Age Publishing Co., 1954). You may be familiar with this book or at least with the story itself as Williamson (sometimes known as Ric Williamson, a.k.a. Brother Philip; see Secret Cipher of the UFOnauts, Greenfield, Illuminet Press, 1994) tells it. Williamson was one of the alleged witnesses to George Adamski's alleged meeting with a "Venusian" in the Arizona Desert in the early 1950s.

Williamson's book, The Saucers Speak, chronicles his own alleged series of ET contacts, first via a homemade Ouija board and then via Morse Code on a ham radio set (I should note here that I can't dismiss Williamson's claim out of hand because of a similar experience I had back in 1967, but that's a long story for another time, or see my article, "ET Encounters Of The Ouija Kind", FATE Magazine, June 2001). The point is that the messages allegedly received by Williamson were similar in tone and style to the message of the Crabwood Crop Circle Code as deciphered by "Richard" on Linda Moulton Howe's website (www.earthfiles.com). Whether there is any, even remote connection, of course I can't say. I only note this as a matter of interest and curiosity. You know, sort of looking behind the curtain, as my friend Peter Gersten would say.

At first I didn't understand what "BELL SOUND" was supposed to mean in that coded context as deciphered by Richard. Then, this past Saturday evening, an explanation was offered on Whitley Strieber's Dreamland show. It was suggested that the phrase "BELL SOUND" was a reference to a bell that would ring at the end of a message on the old teletype machines in the 1960s. However, prior to learning that, I noticed the word "BELL" and the phrases, "CRYSTAL BELL", and "BELL SHIPS" were common throughout the Williamson messages. Just the use of the word "bell" in these messages, as references to a type of space craft, always struck me as odd. Here are a couple of examples (The comments in parentheses are Williamson's, except for page number references):

_________________________________________________

" August 2, 1952.

"Masar to Saras". (After much questioning we learned that Masar was the planet Mars and Saras was our planet Earth. It is also interesting to note that Saras or Saros means "repetition" in the ancient Chaldean language). "By your year of 1956 there must be a new Saras. Bell Flight 9 (Crystal Bells are the "saucers") should land on Saras in 1956. Organize yourselves. There must be peace of mind. You are all for a purpose. You have a destiny. Don't fight Universal Truth!" (p.44)

__________________________________________

"Jupiter-9999, Ankar-22 speaking: Bell Flight from Jupiter joining Masar. Jupiter now leading group. Mercury, Morning Star (Venus), Andromeda-26470 and Wolf-359 are also in group. You must have a group for contact. Band yourselves together." (p.46)

Regarding the gist of the message itself (as deciphered by Richard), as well as the cadence, or the "rhythm", if you will, of the way the sentences or phrases are put together, there are similarities here too. First let's look at the Crabwood Crop Circle Message and then I'll present some comparisons from Williamson.

The Crabwood Crop Circle Message:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Beware the bearers of FALSE gifts & their BROKEN PROMISES. Much PAIN but

still time. (Damaged Word). There is GOOD out there. We OPpose DECEPTION.

Conduit CLOSING (BELL SOUND).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, from Williamson's ET contact messages:

_________________________________________

"We cannot do anything but good. Law of Universe. If we do anything but good, then we are evil. You want to do good, we know that." (p.81)

_________________________________________

"Good and evil forces are working now. Organization is important for the salvation of your world. Contact us as soon as you can". (p.44)

_________________________________________

"Actar speaking. Certain great powers in your world wish to see us go away or see us destroyed. Neither will happen. These powers fear us, and when you fear anything you hate it. All planets have come to help certain ones on Saras. Those of the right mind are one with us! We will not harm anyone, only their own thoughts can do that. Evil destroys evil. Bounceback! Certain seeds have been placed on Saras. To the apples we salt, we return." (p.75)

________________________________________

Just as a side note here, that phrase "To the apples we salt, we return" is mentioned one other time earlier in the book. It was explained as being a phrase from their "old prophecy legends" (p.50). Williamson was told this would not make sense now but that we would understand it in time. It seems like a nonsensical phrase, but there's something about it that resonates with me like some long forgotten nursery rhyme from my childhood or something like that. If you or anyone else recognizes this phrase or anything like it, I'd be interested in hearing from you (CodeUFO@aol.com ).

Now, about that mysterious series of letters in the Crabwood Crop Code which Richard thought was a broken word: EELRIJUE. This is similar to the kind of thing Williamson allegedly received from the ETs many times by Morse Code. Here are some examples from the book:

____________________________________________

"450 TE SA AFFA SWAP YOUR R 450 K SWAP T I ARE YOU APPEAR TO YOU LATER WHEN AS OR SHIP COMPREHEND DA DA K SE WID26 EE WID26 Q QRA SID26". (p.68)

____________________________________________

"SR AGFA AWA PERI K-4 K-4 PERI AFFA AGFA ZO PERI. AGFA IS FINISHED. AGFA IS FINISHED. AGFA IS FINISHED. 110 25 AND 900 HA SO 52 AND 90 30 4 02262102 3 33 1500W 252 THE___ ON 1002 06000224 2257902072034." (p.96)

____________________________________________

It's interesting to note the use of the words AFFA and AGFA in these alleged transmissions. Both of these are words which have turned up in other cases of supposed ET transmissions. I have researched that particular phenomenon and discuss it in my book, The Secret of Nine. It's quite a curious little mystery in the realm of "high strangeness".

I noticed the last two letters in EELRIJUE are UE. In Williamson's case the pair of letters reversed, EU, was very prominent throughout the transmissions. According to the transmissions, EU was "equal to Saras" (p.59). Maybe there is no connection here but it was just something I happened to notice.

So what can we make of all this? Is there any connection at all between the Williamson story and the Crop Code? The Williamson story goes back to the early and mid 1950s and Williamson is long since dead. So we know he's not out there hoaxing crop circles. Well, at least not in the physical sense! But I'll leave that one alone for the time being (Whitley has something to offer in this regard from the letters he received in response to Communion). However, from all the available data regarding this Crabwood "Face/Code" glyph, I do get the sense we may be dealing with a "deception" on some level; which is ironic, considering the content of the message itself. But it may not be just a simple "hoax" perpetrated by some human prankster. Because of my own related experiences (the "Grek-5" communications as discussed in the FATE Magazine article as well as in "THE SECRET OF NINE" ) it seems to me we might possibly be dealing with what is aptly referred to as "high strangeness", which may or may not include human involvement at some level. This whole idea of a "code" and the fact that it consists of 26 words which may or may not correspond in some way to the fact that there are 26 letters in the English alphabet, and the tone, the phrasing and the cadence of the message, as well as the content of the message itself - all of this is so reminiscent of the phenomenon explored in Allen Greenfield's book, Secret Cipher of the UFOnauts, as well as in Williamson's book "The Saucers Speak". What does it all mean? Your guess is as good as mine. It's possible that what I've presented here has no relationship to the Crabwood face/code glyph at all. Or maybe it does. Either way, it seemed worth taking the time to present it because... well, because you just never know.

As the UFO Lawyer, Peter Gersten, is always suggesting, isn't it time we looked behind the curtain?
