HERE ARE THE PRICES OF THE VARIOUS WEAPONS THAT ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

I am always changing this and would be willing to discuss any particular requirements. All lengths are given as approximates, ( wood being what it is end trimming is sometimes necessary ), if absolute lengths are required then please make this known when ordering.

For what it is worth I find the 8' length staffs too unwieldy 6 - 61/2 foot is very usable, ( if this is what you require don't order 8' for cutting down - tell me and we can sort out a price ), Oak I think is preferable to ash as it has strength as well as flexibility, ( resists blows better ).
In Dusaks Oak overall is the best most readily obtained wood with Beech a good second, the best I have found is Hornbeam but that is difficult to come by.

In wasters I am willing to make any design that is feasible a sketch of requirements should accompany the order, the limitations, ( costwise ), are in creating joints, ( the grip/guard being one jointing ), if the design requires more than one set of joints then the cost will be more, I will however discuss each design with you.

These are not the only weapons that I have made just those most commonly asked for, I am willing to discuss making of anything except flails which I feel are too dangerous for combative use.

DEPENDING ON WOOD AND SIZE

Looking after your weapons is relatively easy, a regular application of oil, ( monthly when being used - if damaged see below ), will keep the existing coating whole and allow them to resist the ingress of moisture, ( it also improves the look of them no end ). The oils that I would recommend include the Finishing/Danish oil types and the better quality Teak oils, these all contain Tung oil in varying degrees along with solvents which aid faster drying.
When damage has occurred gently sand out any nicks present and apply a few coats of oil to the affected area. More frequent applications of oil will not harm your weapons. Other oil types, ( Linseed - boiled or otherwise ), may be used but will require longer drying times.
