Coin Purse
Materials:
4 ply worsted weight yarn (model was made with Red Heart Aspen Print)
“H” hook
Purse is approximately 31/2” in diameter
Circle (make 2):
Round 1: Chain 4, join to form a ring. Chain 3; work 11 dc in ring.
Round 2: Work 1 4-dc cluster stitch (YO draw through 2 loops, hold last loop on hook. Repeat for number of dc clusters indicated then YO and draw through all loops on hook, chain 1),
in each dc around. Chain 1 more. Join to top of beginning chain.
Slip stitch two circles together, leaving last 5 stitches on each unworked. Chain 1. Slip stitch back around to the beginning. Fasten off.
Draw strings (make 2), by chaining 52. Weave one drawstring through the every other of the unworked stitches on both sides. Repeat this with the other drawstring, working in the opposite stitches. Knot off the drawstrings and pull the knots to the inside.
