FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS
don't ask for Humber! ask for Holden, any Holden up to the early 70's was fitted with these bearings along with many other cars, & most caravans & box trailers, they are known as the "A" set if you still need the bearing no,s use LM11949/10 & LM67048/10.
SPARK PLUGS not so simple, if you have a Series Snipe, you should be fitting Champion N9YC or their equivlant. The Champion Catalogue recommends N12YC, which is a hotter plug than necessary, if your motor does not run well on N9YC's then it is REALLY sick & you ought to be looking at other than spark plugs to fix your problem. All series Hawks use NGK BP5ES or equiv.
IGNITION all part numbers are Bosch BEWARE Series 1,11 & some Series 111 were fitted with Lucas DM.6 distributors, from then on they had Lucas 25D6 distributors. ALMOST ALL Snipes have over the years been fitted with the later distributor.

BRAKE PADS
the biggest problem is that it is frequently implied they are unavailable. unfortunately they are unique to the Series Snipe & Hawk. The last major manufacturer (Hardie)stopped making them years ago, their part no. was GDB511/S.
However, Maxistop Brakes in Victoria DO still make them, DB511 NM contact them on (03)53681603 for your nearest supplier. If you live near Sydney, contact Independant Brake Supplies at Guildford 98922166 ask for Kylie, you will be surprised at how cheap they are. Another option IF you are mechanically adept,is to buy a set of HK,HT,or HG Holden pads, they are very similar, clamp the pad back to back with the Humber pad as a template & grind the Holden pad to match, but if you get this wrong I don't need to remind you what will happen!
BRAKES Front Caliper Pistons are still available, they MAY be the same as Rover 2000 or 3500. The only part # we have is 64325438 which was on a plain white box. New front disc rotors are made by Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) & can be ordered through most brake retailers, they are infinately better than the original type & inexpensive the part No. is DBA094 & a few quotes should be obtained as prices can vary an unbelievable amount.
TYRES
Not the problem they used to be. For many years the normal tyre to fit was the 185 x 15 radial, these are OK as long as you understand that their rolling radius is less than the 13.2" originally specified,& that they are a bit wide for the standard rim. The 670 x 15 had a diameter of approx. 27", 185 x 15 have a diameter of approx 25". This means that your speedo reading will be about 7% fast, your fuel economy will be 7% worse than it appears to be & worst of all the lower the rolling diameter of the tyre, the heavier your steering will be due to changes in the steering geometry, 185 x 15 are made by Kumho, 185 x 15 light truck by Hankook, & are reasonably priced. The best tyre to fit is the 600 x 15 light truck radial tyre, they are almost identical in dimension to the original 670 x 15 conventional tyres, have a conventional type tread pattern. The ride & handling qualities are excellent & they are very quite. Your steering will be light again. Forget about the truck tyres of old, these are completely different, try Bridgestone 600 x 15 Vsteel 8 ply R18.Federal Tyres also make a 165 x 15 which is very similar in dimension to the original cross ply. The worst thing you can do is fit 195's or wider, they are too wide for the rims, & put excessive loads on already fragile suspension, axles & steering.
